There are good news: the Foundation has already started to have its impact felt on the ground.

Following approval by the Board of a pilot work program to kick-start the Emmanuel Ebot Mbi Foundation in Cameroun, a mission by the Chairman in August 2025 made recommendations that were subsequently approved by the Board. This has resulted in the Foundation awarding full scholarships to 11 needy students of the Collège Jésus-Marie Simbock (CJMS) in Yaoundé in different grades of secondary school. CJMS is a bilingual secondary missionary secondary school. These students would not have been able to attend school without the assistance of the Foundation.

In addition, through the Christian Restoration Network, the Foundation has provided assistance to nine needy orphans in the Northwest region of Cameroon to be able to attend the 2025-2026 schoolyear in grades from primary school to university. The two university student were already being supported by the late Founder of the Foundation. Two needy widows, the mothers of two of the primary school children who received scholarships, have been given assistance to help them start small business activities with the aim of making them more self-sustained in the future.

Support was also provided to the Acacia Orphanage in Biyemassi, Yaoundé, a program initiated by the late Founder of the Foundation himself. This assistance has been expanded to include housing assistance and vocational school materials for the orphans.

Finally, provisions have been made to provide one-time assistance to the neediest of families so that they can have a cheerful holiday seasons in terms of foods and some household items. This is also a program initiated by the late Founder.

The implementation and results of these programs are being carefully monitored and the lessons learned will be used to help inform the preparation of a five-strategy that is under preparation. Preliminary feedback is very positive. In addition to the five-year strategy, steps are being considered to organize a similar other mission as per the vision and wishes of the Foundation Founder.

Pictures are provided that show some of the beneficiaries of the programs.
